We are pleased to invite you to the 10th Canada-Japan Workshop on Composites, to be held 19-21 August 2014 in Vancouver, Canada. This workshop is an opportunity for Canadian and Japanese researchers working on composite design, analysis and manufacturing to gather for an intimate conference focused on new and emerging technology and practice. In addition to a robust technical program, attendees will also be able to explore Vancouver's many cultural and natural amenities.
This year's event is hosted by the Composites Research Network at The University of British Columbia.
Scope
The scope of the 10th Canada-Japan Workshop spans across all areas in composite design and manufacturing. The organizing committee is actively seeking papers focused on fundamental research, engineering R & D and industrial applications with the intention of promoting the innovative use of knowledge in equal measure to its creation.
Submission of Papers
Papers are due by July 18, 2014. Please see the paper submission page for information on the paper template and the submission process.
Registration
Registration for the 10th Canada-Japan Workshop on Composites is open now. Please click here to register. Full registration ($650) includes the workshop sessions, breakfast, lunch, opening reception and the banquet dinner. Please see the program for more information. A discounted student rate ($300) is also available.
Please note that after 31 July 2014, the cost of registration for both full and student registration will be increased by $50, to $700 and $350 respectively.
